A cozy British classic meets bold Indian spices! 🥘 This Curry-Spiced Shepherd’s Pie takes comforting layers of minced meat and mashed potatoes and infuses them with the warmth of curry spices. The result? A fusion dish that’s hearty, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable.





✨ Ingredients

  • 500g ground lamb or beef

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1-inch ginger, grated

  • 1 carrot, diced

  • 1 cup peas

  • 2 Tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder (farm fresh 🌿)

  • 1 tsp Curry Powder (farm fresh 🌿)

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 cup vegetable broth

  • 3 large potatoes (boiled & mashed)

  • 2 Tbsp butter

  • Salt & pepper, to taste







👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.


  2. Add ground meat and cook until browned.

  3. Stir in carrots, peas, tomato paste, cumin powder, curry powder, turmeric, salt, and pepper.

  4. Pour in broth and simmer 10 minutes until thick.

  5. Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top, dot with butter.

  6. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes until golden.
