Fiery, smoky, and irresistibly juicy—Tandoori Chicken is a timeless Indian classic. Traditionally cooked in clay ovens, this dish gets its bold flavor from yogurt and spices that tenderize the chicken while adding layers of heat and depth. Don’t worry—you can easily recreate the magic at home using your oven or grill!




✨ Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks (skinless)

  • ½ cup plain yogurt

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1-inch ginger, grated

  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder (farm fresh 🌿)

  • 1½ tsp Red Chili Powder (farm fresh 🌿)

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • ½ tsp cumin powder

  • 1 Tbsp oil

  • Salt to taste






👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Score chicken pieces with shallow cuts.


  2. In a bowl, whisk yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin, oil, and salt.

  3. Coat chicken well with marinade. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours (overnight is best).

  4. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Arrange chicken on a baking tray.

  5. Bake 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until charred and cooked through.

  6. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh coriander.
