Traditionally cooked in clay ovens, this dish gets its bold flavor from yogurt and spices that tenderize the chicken while adding layers of heat and depth. ✨ Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks (skinless)

  • ½ cup plain yogurt

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1-inch ginger, grated

  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder (farm fresh ๐ŸŒฟ)

  • 1½ tsp Red Chili Powder (farm fresh ๐ŸŒฟ)

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • ½ tsp cumin powder

  • 1 Tbsp oil

  • Salt to taste

  1. Score chicken pieces with shallow cuts.


  2. In a bowl, whisk yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin, oil, and salt.

  3. Coat chicken well with marinade. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours (overnight is best).

  4. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Arrange chicken on a baking tray.

  5. Bake 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until charred and cooked through.

  6. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh coriander.
